Looks Description: Natsumi has long red hair that reaches just below her shoulder-blades at the shortest. She always leaves it loose, and her full fringe falls in front of her eyes a lot while she talks to other people because of her being painfully shy. She doesn't like eye-contact with anyone else. Her eyes themselves are large a shade of darker blue with many tints of green in them. She has a heart-shaped face with delicate features. Thick black lashes frame her eyes, thin and perfectly arched eyebrows grace just above them, she has high cheek bones and a very slim-boned jaw. Her neck is long and slender; a picture of what most people would imagine to be pure beauty.

If you get close enough to see her right eye, you will see that it is much paler than the other one. Upon closer inspection, you will notice that Natsumi will not be able to see you from that eye. She was hit with a projectile in that eye while she was Genin, and ever since has been blinded. If you look closely there is a slit at the top of her eyeball where the projectile hit. Due to her being partly blind, her hearing is a lot more acute than the average shinobi of her rank. Her left arm was also cut off in battle while she was 17, so it was replaced with a Puppet arm that her father made. In this arm is a 5m long coiled up with many jagged points on it.

Her most common outfit is a black short sleeved padded jacket, a long sleeved net shirt underneath that, metal bands on her arms, black fingerless gloves with silver metal backs on them, black shorts that reach her upper thighs with a grey trim, bandages wrapped around her right knee and left shin and finally, a pair of black zip up sandals that reach her ankles. Around her waist is a grey belt with many pouches on it to contain projectiles and basic weapons. Weak-medium strength poisons are also contained in these pouches that Natsumi buys quite a lot to dip her weapons in. Over her back is a thick black strap which holds three medium sized scrolls, and another black strap crossing over the other way with a sheathed double-ended sword; in her hip back she also has 6 smaller scrolls rolled up.





Personality Description: Natsumi likes to keep to herself and just make her puppets, or tweak with her weapons. She isn't really interested in anyone else business; that's for their concern. She has a very sadistic streak, but that doesn't come through all that often. Only if she is extremely angered. Most of the time, she doesn't talk much or interact. When she does talk, she does so in a very blunt and almost disgusted tone of voice like the person she's talking to is dirt on her shoe. Thankfully, she does manage to speak in a some-what civilised manner towards those higher up than her. If she didn't, chances are that she wouldn't even be around.

She enjoys seeing people in pain if they are not associated with her in any way. If she is on a kind of mission with a partner, she'll protect them, but only to a certain extent. If they protect her also, then she will offer her aid. If not, she leaves them practically to their own devices. This is rather cruel, in truth, but just the way that Natsumi does things.

She never shows many emotions, and stays behind an emotionless mask like her puppets. Sometimes if she sits completely still, people can mistake her for a puppet as well. She has a quality about her that makes her seem wooden and without a personality. Even though it's pretty easy to think Natsumi doesn't have a heart, she has very small human glimmers about her. She has a soft spot for animals, and cannot help but pay attention to them while out and around.

In truth, Natsumi doesn't appear to have much of a personality. That much is about right, but not quite.

When the target comes closer, she will then release the jutsu and withdraw her puppet to avoid being hit.

Weakness: The weak part of the blade is the centre, where it is held. It snaps easily around here.
History: Natsumi's grandfather used to be a blacksmith before he turned blind, and therefore lost his job. This was the last weapon he made before he died. Being an only child, Natsumi was the only one to give the sword to.

Puppets

Name: Chou (Butterfly)
Rank: C
Description: Chou is a wooden puppet that looks scarily human. She has a pale 'skin' colour and bright green eyes with little wooden eyelids painted with grey eyeshadow. She is roughly 4'00" tall, and Natsumi always has Chou by her side. It's more a comfort thing from when she was a child, but she is sometimes kept in a smaller scroll. Her hair is short and blond which is a very convincing wig. She is always dressed in a vivid green dress that reaches her knees, and black boots stretch up her shins to hide any joints. On her hands and up to her elbows are elegant black gloves with green lace at the tops.
Devices:At first, Chou was made only for Natsumi's lack of friends from a young age. As she grew older and learnt how to make devices for her puppets she placed a few on this one. Her left arm opens and releases senbon for a more simple one. Inside her mouth is a vial of medium strength poison that is usually sprayed at an opponent.
Weapons: Around her waist, Chou has two short kanata that she uses if things become desperate.
Primary Use: Offensive and Deffensive
Origin: Natsumi made this puppet with help from her father when she was only 8 years old. She was always a lonely child, and therefore had to make a friend so that she wouldn't feel so alone. She loved Chou like a sister and treasured her, but occasionally broke different parts off her (like the left arm which now has senbon inside of it). Even to this day, Natsumi still attaches two of her chakra strings to Chou on a daily basis so that it walks around with her. It's actually very rare that Chou is used for combat, however.

Name: Daisuke (Great Help)

Description: Daisuke was the second puppet that Natsumi made, and therefore still pretty ropey on the detail point of view. You can tell that he is a wooden puppet, because Natsumi never tampered with him to make him look any more human. He has pale blue eyes and messy light brown hair that is also a very convincing wig. He is much bigger built than her other puppets, and because of this it takes a lot of manouvering with her chakra strings. Roughly 5'6" tall, he wears a long blue kimono with a black trim and matching sandals.
Devices: An arm that retracts out of his back and splays out in a large shield type device; hands that are on hinges with swords inside both arms; shurikan launcher from inside his stomach.
Weapons: The swords inside of his arms
Primary Use: Offensive, Defensive
Origin: Natsumi made this puppet entirely by herself when she was 10 years old, and she was delighted at her achievements. This was also her first combat-made puppet; one made for combat whereas Chou wasn't at first. Her father had to help her with many of the contraptions, but she made the shield that retracts out of Daisuke's back. He is kept in the first scroll out of three across Natsumi's back, and she uses him a fair bit in combat.

Name: Kazue (Harmony Blessing)

Description: Kazue has long dark blue hair with golden coloured eyes. It is pretty hard to tell that she is a wooden puppet, due to her being made later on from Chou and Daisuke. She is very slender for a puppet, and therefore very easy for Natsumi to move around with her chakra strings. Because of this, Kazue is used in combat quite a lot. She is 5'4" and wears a long sleeved black shirt paired with a blue skirt and black shorts underneath. On her feet are high heeled boots that come up to her knees in length.
Devices: A compartment in her neck that fire kunai at a high speed; one metal hand that detaches to be thrown as a boomerang-like device; poison gas compressed in her other hand's palm and two bladed whips that are hidden in her legs.

Primary Use: Offensive, Support
Origin: Natsumi made Kazue when she was 14 and when she was now quite skilled in making puppets thanks to her father's teachings. She managed to make all the devices on Kazue herself without any assistance, and because of this was very proud of her achievements. Kazue is kept in the second scroll out of the three on Natsumi's back, and is used very often in battle because she is very swift and reasonably deadly.

Name: Kazuki (One Hope)

Description: Kazuki is effectively a twin of Kazue, and therefore looks almost identical to her. He has short and messy blue hair with the same golden eyes. He is a bit bulkier than his twin, and if used a lot in the same combat situation with her as they balance each other out well. He is 5'9" and wears a sleeveless blue tank top with baggy black pants and matching sandals.
Devices: A shield that springs out of both his arms about 1m across in diametre and 2m tall and hinged hands that release poisoned senbon.
Weapons: Kazuki relies heavily on his weapons that he has. There are two sharp kanata hung around his waist, a long sword over his back, a coiled up razor chain and hundreds of projectiles about his person at all times, each one dipped in poison.
Primary Use: Offensive, Defensive, Support
Origin: Natsumi made Kazuki not long after she made Kazue. She decided that because Kazue seemed quite fragile, she would need a form of back-up while fighting. That was when she made Kazuki. He is heavily armed with weapons and is bulkier than his twin, being able to take more punishment. When Natsumi fights with them both, she will use one hand for Kazue and one hand for Kazuki. Kazuki is kept in the third and final scroll strapped across her back.

Name: Little Pawns

Description: These little puppets are contained in the 6 smaller scrolls inside Natsumi's hip bag and have no human properties about them. They have no eyes or hair, and look somewhat creepy to some. They're only 3'00" tall, and are called Little Pawns for a reason. Natsumi uses these to toy around with a weaker opponent since she finds it enjoyable to watch them squirm.
Devices: Each little marionette has senbon inside their arms dipped with poison.
Weapons: They all have their own amount of projectiles about their person, such as kunai and shurikan.
Primary Use: Support, Offensive
Origin: Natsumi made these puppets when she was around the age of 16 purely for the reason of boredom while she fought. Her current puppets wiped out lower ranked shinobi far too quickly for it to be fun, so she made these to be deadly in a pack, and not individually.




History:

Pre-Academy Arc: Natsumi was born in Yukigakure being an only child to her parents. Her father was a puppet master, and her mother was pretty handy with weapons. From a very early age, Natsumi was a lonely girl. She didn't want to socialize, and just stayed cooped up in her room. While up there she wrote diaries for every day that passed when she watched the other village children. They all seemed to be so happy in comparrison, and only being young Natsumi couldn't understand why she couldn't be happy too. Her mother tried to explain that she could go out more, but Natsumi wouldn't listen. At one point, her parents started to worry about her, wondering if she had some kind of depressive state. It was only because of her not having any siblings and being alone most of the day due to her parents working.

Natsumi's father retired from his shinobi career early to spend more time with his daughter, and decided to show her his workshop below the house. Natsumi was absolutely captivated by the works of art that her father created. Each puppet had it's own story and unique qualities. In truth, Natsumi was so happy because she thought she could play with the puppets. Her father refused to let her, however, and she was heartbroken. Through seeing how unhappy his daughter was once more, her father offered to show Natsumi how to make her own puppets. She accepted more than happily and was always with her father helping him tinker and make new puppets.

Academy Arc: The day came when she was 8 that she made her own puppet completely by herself with her father's supervision. This puppet was purely for friend purposes, so that Natsumi wouldn't be so lonely any more. It was also at this age that she was sent off to the Academy to learn how to become a ninja, something that she she didn't mind doing, but she was more interested in her puppet Chou. She often took it with her to the Academy, but other older children sneered at her for having the 'over-sized doll', so she started leaving Chou at home instead.

Later on during her Academy life, her father started teaching his daughter how to use the chakra strings technique to control her puppet. When she was roughly 9, she had gotten the hang of it and practised as much as she could. Her parents were so relieved that their daughter was actually now enjoying herself more and more, seeming to like living instead of how she used to be not so long ago. They also hoped that going to the Academy would help with Natsumi's confidence issues, but alas, it made them worse. The other children shunned her for being so strange and different, so Natsumi kept to herself and her puppets.

By the age of 10, Natsumi made her next puppet named Daisuke. She also learned from her father how to make him into a combat puppet by adding weapons and devices. Because of this, she modified Chou a little and gave her some weapons also to make her into a combat puppet. Despite this, she still kept Chou in mint condition, not even a scratch on her.

Finally at 12 years old, Natsumi graduated from the Academy as a Genin of Yukigakure. This meant she could put her Puppetry and Weaponry skills into practice.

Genin Arc: A bit too soon, it seemed. Almost a week after becoming a Genin, Natsumi got herself into a fight with a Chuunin. She was so determined that she was going to win that she challenged them to a spar, and ended up having both Daisuke and Chou broken. After that happened, she became careless with panic and distraught, therefore having a shurikan thrown into her right eye. She was rushed to the hospital to see if there was anything the doctors could do save her sight or her eye. As it turned out, only the top part of her eye was penetrated by the shurikan, but all the vital vision nerves had been damaged beyond repair. They cleaned up her eye, but were unable to save her sight.

Being 12 and only having one eye seeing clearly was a huge shock to Natsumi's system. The first thing she realised was how hard it was to continue making her puppets with only one eye. Despite that she forced herself into learning a way to make puppets with one eye, and finally mastered it again by fixing Chou and Daisuke. It was also around this age that she became very good at making devices for her puppets and also wielding weapons herself thanks to her mother's training. She was given a double ended sword by her grandfather at the age of 13, so she trained with that against her mother and father often until she was rather good at using it.

Another year passed, and it was about now that her sensei put her and the other team mates in for the Chuunin Exam.

Chuunin Exam: Natsumi was extremely nervous about the exams (naturally) and made sure her skills were properly in reach of gaining the next rank up for her. She practiced with her puppets day in and day out, and also worked on her accuracy with projectiles and her double ended sword now named Delphina. At last, the days of the exam came.

In the written exam, she scraped through with a few marks to spare. She got through the second round reasonably unscathed, and then came the arena spars. She won all of her spars, one easier than the others, and became a Chuunin of her village.

Chuunin Arc: Being a Chuunin meant a lot more work for Natsumi to get used to. She had more pressure put on her due to the higher rank, and more ninja looked up to her. Her father continued with helping Natsumi make puppets. It was at this age that she made Kazue and Kazuki, the twin puppets that balanced each other out in battle. Now armed with 4 puppets at her disposal, Natsumi felt invincible. That was until she turned 15...

She was sent out on a mission with her sensei and other team mates, and their team got attacked by a band of Rogue ninja. Unfortuately, Natsumi became careless and turned her back for one second, allowing one of the attacking ninja to cut off her arm from the elbow down. Soon after their sensei got rid of the other ninja, they went back to the hospital where the medic ninja cleaned up her arm to make sure no infections would get into the exposed flesh before sending her home.

Natsumi felt as though her life had been shattered. With only one arm, it restricted her use of her beloved puppets greatly. Her father noticed this, and set to work on making a new puppet arm for his daughter. He surprised her with it two weeks later, and fitted it carefully. He also pointed out that he had implanted a device into it, and about a month was spent getting used to the new arm and device at Natsumi's disposal. It wasn't all that long until she could get back to making puppets again, and her life once again felt complete.

During the same year, Natsumi started to think how she could ever become a great puppet master with all the restrictions her village held over her. So, she left Yukigakure with no time to spare, taking all her puppets and half her father's puppet making equipment with her. Her strange drive and desire to kill and become stronger was only fuelled by the fact that she had a deadly weapon as part of her own body.

She made her Little Pawn puppets not so long after, and continued roaming around the land in search of more power. It took her a while, but she self-taught herself some more jutsu and techniques before she heard about an organization called Tasogare. By the sound of it, they really were on a search for power and greatness; and she wanted to be part of it. So, she joined as an apprentice there she was only B-Ranked, and therefore not strong enough to be a full member. That was only very recently, so now she is awaiting further instruction from Tasogare.

RP Test The sun streamed in through the window of Amiya's main office, making her squint in the sudden light. She groaned and rubbed her eyes, sitting up from her desk as she realised she had fell asleep on some paperwork again. 'I always manage to do this recently...' She thought to herself before yawning and looking to the side of her and smiling. Someone had made her a black coffee to wake her up. 'Thank God! If I didn't have my coffee then most people would hate me.' She took hold of the cup and blew gently across the mug's top to cool the boiling liquid inside it before taking a sip. Her eyes closed in a some what dreamy content before she opened them again and focused on her paperwork.

It seemed that she had almost finished it, so she could just can through and go to have a day to herself for a change. That rarely happened as of late; more paperwork and legal documents had been finding their way to her in the past two weeks. The dark circles beneath her eyes told most people that much. For once in her life, she looked older than her age of 22.

"Right!~ This won't take me that long." She told herself and nodded, picking up her pen and reading through the document to refresh her memory. It was just some requests for missions; something that she saw a lot sitting on her desk in the 'To be done' pile. D rank, D rank, D rank... just a very long list of low ranked missions. All she had to do at the end was sign her name on the dotted line and put it in the 'Mission' pile. Her desk was very well organised, with many neatly stacked piles. She definitely took her job seriously.

Finally, when the name Amiya Chinatsu was scrawled across the line at the bottom of the page, she placed it aside and laughed when she saw no more work to be done.
"Yes! This means I can have a day to myself!" She cheered, jumping up from her large chair and smiling brightly. All of a sudden she looked young and full of life once more. She tucked a loose strand of her blond hair behind her ear before gathering some files into her shoulder bag and throwing it over her right shoulder.

She strode out of the office, downing her cup of black coffee and hanging her Hokage attire on the hook next to the office door. Underneath the robe she was wearing a mid-thigh length powder blue dress and a pair of wedged golden sandals on her feet. The straps of the dress were chunky and joined together at the back in a bow, and her blond hair was left loose after she took off her Hokage hat.
"Bye everyone, see you all tomorrow!" She called to the number of other ninja milling around the other offices. They all waved and wished her a good day before she bounced out of the door and basked in the bright sunlight.

'Well, what can I do now...?' She asked herself as she wandered absently down the street. She was occassionally waved at by some passers by, and she politely smiled and waved back. Her beloved husband was still at work, so she had to live without seeing him until the evening. She gently twirled her wedding ring round on her ring finger as she thought; a pretty recent habit of hers. 'I could go up to the Hokage Mountain. It has an amazing view of the village.' She thought happily.

So, she took a sharp and last minute turn towards the monuments, humming gently under her breath as she did so. She skipped a few steps when she leaped effortlessly up to the top, seeing three other men gathered there. Of course she recognised all three of them; Tyki, Adair and Saito, two of whom were only some of the village's Sanin. Adair, on the other hand was an ANBU member. She secretly wondered what he was doing off work, but she guessed that he wasn't in work today.

Amiya fluidly sat herself on one of the barriers facing the others and smiled, waving.
"Hello, everyone!~ If I'm correct, your names are Tyki, Adair and Saito?" She ended in a sort of question, just in case she was wrong. Sometimes her memory wasn't the best in the world, even she had to admit. "Of course I remember Tyki." She smiled at the one man whom she had saved at one point in her expansive history.
