PostSubject: Open Training   Open Training EmptyFri May 13, 2011 10:06 am

Sweat dropped down the Uchiha's brow as he breathe rather heavily focusing on his objective. It wasn't that it was tiring but he needed to hone this skill to the highest level he could. He focused his natural sight straining his eyes to see, he could note several targets forming a circle around him. Including one that was directly above him, Rain drew in a breath and closed his eyes. As they reopened his Sharingan was active, he could feel his own success. He moved quickly to most his rank it wasn't even viewable. They would simply see him disappear, only to reappear mere seconds later in the air.

With a cocky smile that showed that he was assure of his own skill, he twisted into the air easily spotting the topics. First he threw out two kunai, not even worrying about whether they hit or not he was already on to the next targets. This time taking out three, throwing two in the opposite directions and the last one behind the kunai to his right. Hitting off that Kunai at a good angle it arced back toward the top striking in the center of the target above him. As he began to drift back down, he twisted once more to throw and strike the target behind him.

Rain landed despite everything done softly in the grassy area. It was his own private training area away from the eyes of other. Sure others still came here but it provided more privacy. For further training Rain had a massive shuriken summoning scroll, throwing it out faced him brought a wave of Kunai and Shuriken toward him. With his eyes anything was possible bringing his own single Kunai up. He dashed forward, striking Kunai and Shuriken down alike. Sometimes he would simply completely evade them, but as one came to his left he flicked his hand out to grab it.

He paused in his spot, then before he could be hit he used his top speed again to leap. Now he was above the attack, it was time for a justu just to rid himself of the attack. Appearing high in the air already forming hand seals, Rain simply spoke "Wind Style: Gale Wind Palm. Throwing behind it a Kunai to increase it's deadliness and speed. His wind style sent the attack flying off and several different directions. His thrown Kunai striking and burying deep in the center of the target that was under him. His red eyes watched emotionless besides a slight feeling of accomplishment welling up inside of the young Uchiha.

Sensing someone coming Rain decided to pratice his Genjustu with the help of his eyes. Forming the handseals once more, he spoke "Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu." Though instead of changing a nearby object, he chose himself making him look like a tall oak tree. As long as he stood still the Justu should hold intact to him needs and plans. Though if he deviated and lost focus for a second since this was a weaker justu he would fail horribly. However, steadily Rain has grew a liking for the Genjustu as well as it could always help when in a cinch.

Tora was walking through the woods trying to find a nice, secluded place to train. He then came to a clearing and saw multitudes of shurikan and kunai strewn across the clearing. Several kunai were imbedded in what seemed to be targets. Tora walked over to the all the kunai and shurikan he knelt down and examined them. There was no blood so it wasn't from a battle. That much was clear, which could only mean Tora was not alone in the forest. He stood up straight and looked around. He couldn't see anyone and he couldn't feel anybody's presence but that didn't mean that no one was there. They were obviously a higher rank than he was but that was all Tora could figure out.

The youn crimson haired genin closed his eyes for a moment. He did this to think of a plan and what to do. From what he knew someone else was in the forest, at least chuunin rank since he couldn't detect them. The only places to hide were in the trees or using a genjutsu to disguise oneself. Snapping his eyes open Tora launched himself into the air and pulled out several shurikan. He spun around and threw the shurikan at all the trees in the surrounding area. Tora landed before his shurikan hit and quickly grabbed a kunai knife from the pouch strapped to his right thigh. He watched each shurikan with his mismatched eyes and hoped something would happen. Maybe he could find whoever was hiding, maybe he had just wasted some energy, either way Tora was certain that he wasn't alone. The object that Tora focused on most was the big oak tree. Here he was in the middle of a clearing with very few trees and yet this oak tree was just in the middle of the area. It seemed a bit unnatural to Tora but then again he was suspicious of everything.

Tora waited for something to happen, his eyes kept shifting from one shurikan to another in hopes of finding whoever was hiding. It was a long shot, after all whoever had been here could be long gone by now. Tora had faith that the person was not far from his current location but there was no way to be certain. Tora pulled a kunai out of the pouch on his left thigh so that he was now holding one kunai knife in each hand. He waited patiently for his shurikan to strike the trees and hoped it would scare, or lure out, whoever was hiding. Only time would tell if his instincts were right.

Rain almost withdrew his Genjustu when he noticed it was another clan member who also was recently assigned to Rain's team along with another Uchiha genin. Rain found it weird that Tora of all would be assigned to him, at least the Hokage was being gracious and granting him familiar faces. At first when Rain found out that he would be having a team, he was dismayed as he could not allow himself to grow attached to another set of people. Now as their leader their progress and survival was based off of his teachings and the values he would pass on to them. It was a huge responsibility not often given to a Chuunin but Rain was always since birth called Special.

As he watched the boy throw his own set of Kunai, for his age Rain was surprised by his accuracy and speed. And this was without his Sharingan being active, Rain because he knew Tora and because he was impressed would make sure Tora was successful even if his path was different from Rain's own. As the Kunai flew closer and closer to Rain, he rid himself of the Genjustu moving quickly grabbing the Kunai. Rain spun rapidly sent the Kunai back toward Tora, it wasn't at his top speed but quicker than Tora should be used too. If Tora could manage to not be hit by the Kunai, Rain would then official take Tora on as his protege.

Rain's red eyes were looking at Tora, either way if accepted Tora's life was going to become very difficult. The way Rain trained was all out and he didn't take easy missions either. All his actions were aimed to maximize growth in power and strength. His eyes unyielding as he gazed down at the young boy, but part of him willing the boy to just dodge or deflect the Kunai. It wasn't aimed at any vital points but he wouldn't know that and the blade was dulled so more of a blunt impact. His eyes showed an increasing amount of interest as the Kunai now drew nearer and nearer to the younger Uchiha.

"I hope you are ready Tora, cause from now on your only going up. As long as you don't let this attack kill you, this is your test. Pass it and your officially within Team Uchiha." His voice low but still emanating enough for Tora to easily be able to hear his fellow clans member.

Tora watched as all his shurikan hit the trees except one. The oak tree turned into a person, who grabbed the shurikan and threw it back at Tora. It was fast, very fast but Tora saw it coming. At the last possible second Tora side-stepped to the right and avoided the shurikan. It was a close call but Tora had managed to avoid it without a single scratch. Tora wasn't especially fast but he knew how to move and when to move.

Looking at the person who threw the shurikan Tora saw his eyes and almost froze. The man's eyes were the sharingan, which meant he was an Uchiha. Tora was sure he had seen this man around somewhere and thought for a moment and then it hit him. This was the Uchiha who was to be his teacher. "I am Tora Uchiha. It's an honor to meet you" Tora said. He was saying this as one Uchiha to another. Tora was jealous that the man had his sharingan but hoped that soon he could awaken his own sharingan.

Tora heard the man speak and responded without hesitating and without even thinking for more than a split second. "Understood" Tora said calmly. He wanted power, enough power to be the strongest shinobi and defend his village and clan from anything. Tora's mismatched eyes gazed at the older Uchiha and wondered what he would do next. What kind of test was awaiting him and what kind of power this man could bestow upon him. All questions would be answered in time so for now Tora could only wait and see what would happen.

Rain watched with interest as the boy rather easily dodged the kunai, maybe he was underestimating him. As his feet connected with the ground, he stood at his full height dressed only in battle attire. It was somewhat reminescent of the ABNU Black ops, excpet he didn't have a mask and his armor was pure white. His armor was always in contrast then his mood. He knew his hands were dirty, he has killed before and whatever religion was true didn't look well on murderers. Though he was a Shinobi and whatever he deemed worthy he would protect till the last breath of his body left.

A confident smirk graced Rain's face as realization obviously dawned upon the younger Uchiha. He was mentally quick which was a good thing and actually a normal feat within the Uchiha. Rain didn't know if a stupid Uchiha existed and his pride made him highly doubt it as well. He also noted that his eyes seemed to be the center of Tora's attention. Meaning Tora hadn't activated his yet but Rain had a feeling it wasn't too far off. Sometimes all it took was a little push and other times it took more than that. Rain's had came when he was literally at death's doorstep, he should have been dead instead of his friend.

"I am Tora Uchiha. It's an honor to meet you"

"As I am Rain Uchiha but this isn't the first time we've met."

Rain actually seen Tora when he was younger and still in the academy, even in the academy Tora showed promise. Though, Rain had no idea he would be the one who would be responsible for his training. Rain's smile as he thought of the perfect training and test for the young Uchiha. He took two steps back before fully thinking of the test. He planned to have Tora attack him with everything he had, Rain would only evade and strike back with Taijustu while Tora could use anything to his disposal to hit Rain. Rain then shifted his attention back to Tora, his red eyes seemingly staring at him.

"I want you to come at me with everything you have, I will only use Taijustu if you can manage to hit me you real training will begin."

With that Rain simply watched the boy, his hands at his side as if he didn't expect much from him. Though it was quiet the different opinion within Rain, he expected great things from Tora.

Tora finally got a good look at the man before him. He recognized him from somewhere but he couldn't remember where. Tora wanted to ask the man if the had met before, but Tora was sure that the memory would come back to him soon enough. The man seemed strong and with his sharingan unlocked he could prove to be a very dangerous opponent. Tora wanted to fight him and see just how he measured up.

Hearing the man's name memories rushed back to Tora. He remembered Rain looking in at his classes back at the academy. Rain spoke again and mentioned fighting. This excited Tora though his face did not show it. He was glad to have the chance to fight someone obviously stronger than himself. "Mission acknowledged" Tora said emotionlessly.

Tora started thinking about what jutsu he knew and quickly decided on a plan. He made some handseals and looked at Rain and used the Temporary Paralysis Technique, however this was just a distraction. Tora then used performed some more handseals and inhaled deeply but then vanished from sight. He had used the Body Flicker technique to get behind Rain. Once he was behind Rain, Tora exhaled and used Fireball jutsu to create a rather large fireball. He had put a lot of chakra into the attack. Tora then jumped backwards to gain some distance and hoped his tactics worked. If they didn't then he would be in trouble. Tora watched Rain and wondered what he would do next and what his next move should be.

Rain watched curiosity wondering what the younger boy might try to employ. He realized he had truly put himself in danger by limiting his own arsenal, but he was confident with his Sharingan he would see through the boy. With that he focused his sight on the boy, as he accepted his mission. The wind picked up almost like in anticipation for the oncoming fight. Rain stood resolute with one hand extended out almost like daring him to attack with his best. A small smirk rose on Rain's face as watched the boy think and began to act. Quickly forming hand seals, but with Rain's Sharingan he had noticed since the begining and as his chakra spiked around him. He disappeared leaving an after image, he was only using Taijustu so no hand seals were needed.

As the boy finally unleashed his justu Rain was behind him thanks to his speed and the reactions on his Sharingan. Rain watched as the boy attacked his after image causing it to wither away. And as the boy rather skillfully unleash a great fireball justu where Rain should be. But Rain wasn't, he drew a Kunai and threw it as the boy was landing. He threw it behind the fireball to mask it, but Rain was not through yet. Once more combining his two taijustus, he disappeared once more but was rather quickly dashing moving quickly to pass the fireball appoarching Tora as he was landing. He spun while dropping to send his leg out to clip Tora but with the impact sending him flying. And worse yet, his Kunai has not even came yet.

"Show me your limits."

Tora was surprised when it seemed like attack had no effect on Rain. It was as if he had simply ignored the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu. However a bigger shock came as Tora attacked from behind with a large fireball and watched as it simply passed through Rain as though he wasn't there. It was like he was a ghost and had become insubstantial. Tora didn't know if it was some jutsu or just a trick of some sort but whatever it was Tora wasn't hitting Rain. It was upsetting to say the least, when your opponent was right there in front of you yet you can't hit him. Tora was frustrated though he didn't show it.

Tora watched as the Rain he had attacked simply withered away. The real Rain came to attack and Tora started thinking quickly. As the fireball fizzled out a glimmer of light caught Tora's eye and he saw the kunai knife rushing towards him. It was some distance away but it was getting closer. He then saw the real Rain trying to kick him. It was a long shot but Tora thought of a plan. Right before Rain's kick hit him Tora jumped over the foor and leaned backwards so it looked like he was gliding backwards horizontally. When the timing was right Tora spun his body and grabbed the incoming kunai knife. Using it's momentum and his own, Tora aimed at Rain's knee, hoping to slow him down. Tora knew the odds of this working were slim to none but he had to try anyway. Only time would tell if he made a good gamble that paid off, or a bad one which could put him in serious trouble.

Rain had to think quickly as obviously he knew that his kick did not connect as he would have felt it. His eyes quickly moving between Tora and the Kunai watching Tora seemingly float back. Rain briefly winded by using both moves, Taijustu was not his specialty. To Rain's further surprise, he watched as the boy while still in the air managed to spin around and snatch his Kunai out of the air. Maybe Rain would have to use justu on him after all, Rain had grew cocky with his new rank and Sharingan. No he wasn't cocky, he was assured that he would make it out of this as the boy began his counter Rain realized two things.

He fully opened his eyes and knew that the Kunai would hit him, but he was fast enough to control where it hit. He brought down his armored arm to assure that it would deflect the Kunai. Noticing that Tora was still in the air at this point, Rain twisted around as he was close to the ground and using that momentum. He gripped another Kunai and threw it channeling his full strength and speed in it. It was a dulled blade so even if connecting it would pierce skin but enough to show him a taste of pain. Then as he rounded his spin, he caught the kunai he deflected kicking of the ground sending himself toward Tora. He planned to keep Tora off his balance and easily work him to the ground ending the spar.

"Nice but you can do better Tora."

Tora was slightly surprised when Rain blocked the kunai. It had been at close range and yet Rain had still managed to deflect it. It upset Tora but he had to stay focused on the task at hand, which was trying to hit Rain. Tora felt like Rain was just toying with him, but even so Rain's strength far surpassed Tora's. He felt like the difference in power was immeasurable. Tora was confident about his skills but Rain far outclassed him in every aspect. He couldn't find a way to win or to even hit Rain. It was frustrating to say the least but Tora would keep trying until he collapsed.

Tora watched as a kunai flew towards him at a remarkable speed. Tora dodged it by a hair's breath by dropping his body towards the ground and skidded towards the right. He then saw Rain charging towards him. He was fast, much faster than Tora had anticipated. Tora sped up the speed at which he performed handseals and used the fireball jutsu again. Tora wasn't sure if it would work but Rain was in close range. The large fireball raced towards Rain and Tora was panting heavily. He had focused so much on learning jutsu Tora hadn't paid much attention to his stamina. He pulled out a kunai for each hand and held them tight, waiting for rain to make his next move. Tora thought about his skills and remaining stamina, by his calculations he could use the fireball jutsu one more time before he totally spent his chakra. The spar wouldn't take long to finish but Tora was determined to go down fighting and only once all his energy was spent, no matter how much damage his body took. That was just the kind of guy he was.

Rain rushed for Tora only to be met with a rapid fireball justu. Rain quickly thought and continuing to run while performing handseals of his own. Summoning and channeling his chakra through his body, he leaped seemingly into the flames with his own justu. Great fireball justu, he pushed it out while still covering himself within his light armor just in case. The flames were unbearably hot around Rain, and his own justu only creating more heat but protecting him from getting burned. And it Rain guess right would ensue a surpise for Tora as soon as Rain emerged from the fireball.

As he flew from the fireball with his own great fireball justu, he released it to fly toward Tora. While forming more seals, hiding behind the great fireball he formed a clone to appear behind Tora. And try to grab him from the legs, and then to ensure a hit. Rain did more hand seals this time using shushin no justu, he disappeared from behind his fireball justu to follow Tora if he managed to dodge. He would then appear in front of Tora and activate his genjustu Kori Shinchu no Jutsu. Rain realized the boy had actually made him start fighting unrestrained this would be the true test for Tora.

"Fall away."

This justu would cause the world around Tora to change, it would make him walk around in circles but unknown to himself that he is. It would be mentally and physically tiring but might take a while which would only serve in private amusement on Rain's behalf after all he was still young.

Tora couldn't see behind the fireball so he kept his guard up and scanned the area with his eyes, trying to think of what direction Rain would attack from. Tora used his peripheral vision to look right and left, he then looked above and behind but he didn't see Rain anywhere. "He can't be below me right? Where is he" Tora thought to himself. All of a sudden Rain burst out of the fireball, much to Tora's surprise though his face didn't show it. The fireball fizzled out after Rain burst out of it. "He was inside the fireball?! That's crazy! How'd he do that without getting burned? I'll have to learn that trick later" Tora thought.

Tora saw the fireball and jumped up and over it. He had timed it perfectly because when Tora looked down at the ground he saw Rain standing where he had been standing previously. It seemed as if Rain had been trying to grab him. Tora landed safely on the ground on the other side of the fireball. Suddenly Rain appeared out of nowhere in front of Tora. He didn't see Rain coming and had no time to react.

Tora saw Rain perform some handseals but nothing happened, everything seemed to be the same. "I don't get it, I saw Rain perform handseals yet nothing happened. Why?" Tora thought. He thought for a moment and realized what has happening. "Crap! Genjutsu! I only know one way to break a genjutsu, but it's going to hurt" Tora thought. He took the kunai knife in his right hand and plunged it into his right leg. Tora knew that pain could overcome genjutsu and so could certain jutsu, though he didn't know what. Tora looked at Rain and panted a bit, blood dripping down his leg and onto the ground. "Is that all you got Rain" Tora asked. It was a total bluff; Tora was running low on chakra, his leg was bleeding, he was hurt, and out of breath. Things were not looking too good for the young crimson haired Uchiha. He kept his defense up and waited to see what Rain would do.
